How we test
We run peptide samples on a reversed-phase UPLC system with UV detection to measure purity. A high-resolution mass spectrometer then confirms identity by comparing the measured mass with the expected mass for the peptide.
If a reference is available we also measure net peptide content by quantitative HPLC, so you can compare it with the amount on the label.
What we measure
| Purity | HPLC-UV, reported as % peak area at the stated wavelength |
|---|---|
| Identity | Measured accurate mass compared with the expected mass |
| Net content | Quantitative HPLC against the stated amount, where a reference is available |
| Report | Chromatogram and mass spectrum attached |
What is on the certificate
- Certificate Number, test date and sample description
- Purity result and method
- Measured and expected mass
- Net content, if requested
- Chromatogram and spectrum
What the data looks like
Examples only. Not real results.
What to send
- Lyophilized powder or solution in a sealed, labelled vial
- Sequence or formula and the stated amount
- Enough material for each test. Exact amounts are in your packing instructions
Please wait for our packing instructions before you ship. They confirm amounts, container, temperature and where to send the samples.
